Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thoughtful and Clever AND Nerdy Recipes There seems to have been a lot of thought out into this, as so many recipes are based on not only a character’s powers but also their ethnic background. Some recipes are also really interesting in general and the ones I’ve made are really good. I don’t get jazzed about cookbooks often, but the layout, artwork, and content overall of this one are great so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun and fancy Super fun! Some recipes are a little fancy for just an average person to cook but still fun for a Marvel fan

Rated 2 out of 5 by from If you’re looking to earn a Michelin star... I was so excited for this cookbook. Marvel is my jam and I love to cook, so putting them together was a recipe for success (pun intended). Not to mention, the Eat the Universe merchandise is really cool. This isn’t something I’ll be keeping, though. Mostly because the recipes are extremely obscure, high brow, and time consuming, but also because I literally can’t afford to make these dishes. Some of the ingredients called for: Frog legs, century eggs, beef tongue, lobster, squid, tomahawk steak (can you say $35 a lb?), chlorophyll, candied Yuzu zest... As my sister so eloquently put: “why can’t they just have recipes where you can make an appetizer by take lil smokies and shaping them into Moljinir or something?” If you’re looking for fun, Marvel themed dishes to make for your next Avenger’s marathon, this book is not for you. If you’re looking to save any sort of money on your grocery bill, this book is not for you. However, if you want an interesting coffee table book or like to cook like you have no budget and you’re on the food network, then pick yourself up a copy. The pictures are pretty cool.
