BACKORDER


Backorder refers to an item that is out of stock, but will be back in stock at a later date. You can purchase items listed online as backordered, and they will ship once they’re back in stock. For sized items, you’ll have to select your desired size for the website to reflect that it is backordered. International Shipping is not available for backordered items. Please note: There is an additional $2.99 surcharge per item on presale/backorder merch shipped to home addresses. This surcharge will be waived for one item in a single order if the entire order does not qualify for free shipping over $60. This surcharge is waived entirely if the Ship To Store option is selected.

Payment Methods

You can place an order using a debit card, credit card or gift card. We will seek a bank authorization for the price of the backordered item(s) purchased on the day you submit the order. You will receive an email confirmation once you place your order; your card will be authorized but will not be charged until your backordered items have shipped. PayPal is not accepted for backordered items at this time.


Shipping Options

All backordered items ship via our standard shipping option on their expected ship date. If you purchase in-stock and backordered items in the same transaction and select overnight or second day shipping, the in-stock items will ship via your selected shipping option. The backordered items will ship when they’re back in stock via standard shipping.


Shipping Surcharge

There is an additional $2.99 surcharge per item on presale/backordered merch shipped to home addresses. Q: What is a bank authorization?

A: The bank will place a hold on your credit card or gift card for the amount of the backordered item(s).

Q: How long will the bank place a hold on the account?

A: Seven days for a credit card and 69 days for a gift card.

Q: What happens if the item is not available by the initial expected ship-by date that was stated when I placed my order?

A: If the shipping date changes BoxLunch will send you an email notifying you of a new shipping date. If you do not want to wait you may cancel your order by calling our toll free Customer Service at 855-463-3646  For international customers, call +1626-603-3202 or respond via  email.

Q: What happens if the shipping date changes and I do not respond to the late shipment email?

A: If we do not hear from you WITHIN SEVEN (7) DAYS FROM RECEIVING THE EMAIL NOTICE, and we have not shipped within 30 days later than the original promised shipment time, your order will be canceled automatically. If you do not want your order automatically canceled you may request that we keep your order and fill it later. WE MUST HEAR FROM YOU WITHIN SEVEN (7) OF RECEIVING THE EMAIL NOTICE IF YOU WANT TO KEEP THE ORDER AND FILL IT LATER.
